Anthropologue et photographe RP, Bertrand Cottet a travaille de nombreuses annees dans le domaine de l'asile. Sa formation et son interet pour les migrations l'ont conduit a collaborer pendant pres de 10 ans, de 1994 a 2003, avec l'Organisation suisse d'aide aux refugies et de Caritas Suisse. Ses photos de refugies, realisees en marge de son travail, ont ete publiees aux Editions d'en-bas sour le titre Ombres et lumieres de l'exil. Apres avoir effectue un stage de journalisme aupres d'Amnesty International en 2003 et 2004, Bertrand Cottet travaille aujourd'hui comme photographe independant et comme iconographe pour le journal Le Temps a Geneve. Anthropologist and RP photographer has worked for many years in the field of asylum. His education as well as interest for migration fueled a ten year collaboration, between 1994 and 2003, with the Swiss Refugee Council (OSAR) and Caritas Switzerland. The photographs, done in the context of his work, were published in a book entitiled Ombres et lumieres de l'exil and published by the Editions d'en bas. After an internship with Amnesty International between 2003 and 2004 Bertrand Cottet now works as an independant photographer and as a picture editor at the Le Temps newspaper in Geneva.
